Enacted Monuments & Improvised Epics

Next weekend I’ll bring together different strands of my teaching – from working with artists and dancers, sustainability students and activists – into a new workshop model. 

 

 It will aim to leave people with new grounding and new concrete tools to occupy the intersection of art and politics in this moment.  We’ll include improvising from/with the news, the way Hannah Arendt’s work offers a radical justification for poetics that one can take into one’s life, a dip into Augusto Boal’s Theater Of The Oppressed and making „paper monuments“.
